AFAP is convening the 3rd Regional PPD Forum to engender action-orientated and result-focused regional dialogue and deliberations that will lead to the development of concrete next steps in addressing Africa’s fertilizer and agro-inputs challenges.

West Africa-AFAP Regional Public-Private Dialogue themed ‘The Future of Fertilizer and Agro-inputs in Africa’, in Accra, Ghana

The African Fertilizer and Agribusiness Partnership (AFAP), is pleased to invite you to participate in the West Africa-AFAP Regional Public-Private Dialogue (PPD) on “The Future of Fertilizer and Agro-inputs in Africa” to be held on Wednesday, 19 April to Thursday, 20 April 2023 at the Labadi Beach Hotel in Accra, Ghana.

This event, the third in the series, will be co-hosted by AFAP and the Ministry of Food and Agriculture, Ghana with support for the West Africa AFAP Regional PPD led by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the West African Fertilizer Association (WAFA).

The AFAP Regional PPD series aims to facilitate actionable and outcome-oriented discussions among regional stakeholders, leading to the development of concrete next steps for addressing Africa’s fertilizer and agro-inputs challenges. This event will also provide an excellent opportunity for gathering input that will go into the 10-year industry strategy development during the African Union’s 2023 African Fertilizer and Soil Health Summit. We believe that this event series will be a valuable platform for stakeholders to exchange knowledge and develop solutions to address the fertilizer and agro-inputs challenges facing the continent.
